Concession Road 4 North between Middle Side Road and Alma Street will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday for a road reconstruction project expected to last until October.
Residents will still be able to access their homes. Anyone with questions or concerns can contact the Engineering and Public Works Department at 519-736-3664.
Council awarded the $2,274,247.02 plus H.S.T. tender in July to low bidder Pierascenzi Construction Ltd. The work includes culvert repairs, ditch re-grading, road improvements and new asphalt.
Other road projects being tackled this year include:
- Pacific Avenue Watermain and Road Replacement from Richmond Street to Simcoe Street: Council awarded a $1,019,009 plus H.S.T. tender in July to low bidder D’Amore Construction.
- Road Resurfacing of Venetian Drive and St. Therese/Woodbridge/Durango in Malden under the Town’s new Mill and Pave program. Council awarded in May a $410,508 plus H.S.T. tender to low bidder Mill-Am Corporation.
