Kids in McGregor and rural Amherstburg will be having a blast soon on a playground to be installed in Co-An Park, a jewel shared by the Towns of Amherstburg and Essex.
New World Park Solutions Inc. was awarded the $389,791 contract to install the new playground equipment, which was selected following a public voting process that saw 859 ballots cast.
Amherstburg and Essex split the cost for amenities in this park, which is located just east of Walker Road.
