Amherstburg residents are welcome to attend a virtual Public Information Centre Wednesday night about the Fryer Street Reconstruction project.
The project involves the reconstruction of Fryer Street between Simcoe and Alma Streets and is set to begin this summer between Richmond and Alma Streets, followed by a second phase next spring from Richmond to Simcoe.
The work includes:
- New asphalt paving and curbing
- New storm and sanitary sewers along portions of the project;
- New local watermain, fire hydrants and water services; and
- New concrete sidewalk/pathway as needed on both sides of the road.
Town staff and representatives from Dillon Consulting Limited will share details of the proposed corridor improvements and the planned timeline during the online PIC and follow up the presentation with a question and answer period. Public input is welcome!
Send an email to Kristine Wilkinson at [email protected] to sign up for the PIC.
The online presentation will be recorded and posted on the Town’s website for one week after the presentation.
