  • Support more historic plaques as part of a heritage walking tour linked with a mobile app
  • Issue an Expression of Interest to the private sector for the restoration of Belle Vue
  • Support more public art projects including the Italian Monument in King's Navy Yard Park

Waterfront Development 

  • Open up as soon as possible the Duffy's property for public use, including transient marina, expanded fishing space, public plaza
  • Build out Ranta Park with more fishing and boating opportunities, including access to a public boat ramp and kayak launch

Roads and Infrastructure

  • Support a Traffic Management Policy that empowers neighbourhoods to petition for traffic calming measures
  • Continued investments in roads following recommendations of updated Roads Needs Study
  • Develop 5-Year Capital Plan and follow the recommendations of our Asset Management Plan
  • Improved Lifecycle planning so we save for asset replacement on annual basis
  • Support paved shoulders when Concession Road 2 North and Lowes Side Road are reconstructed
  • Support the expedited construction of paved shoulders or a pathway on Middle Side Road. Sign my petition!


  • Support bike lanes, paved shoulders and trail connectivity
  • Build out extreme sports precinct at Libro Centre and work with corporate and civic partners to raise funds for enhanced skate park and BMX pump track
  • Make the Simcoe Street active transportation corridor as safe as possible, including bollards
  • Prioritize the construction of new tennis courts, basketball courts and pickle ball courts
  • Finalize and approve a Libro Master Plan that includes a pool
  • Enhance and promote the Big Creek Trail, currently under construction at the Libro

Youth and Senior Engagement

  • Explore providing WiFi in park pavilions so teens have safe and productive places to gather
  • Continued investments in Open Air to enhance youth and family activities
  • Promote our regional transit pilot project, which launched in September
  • Continue supporting our community partners at the Hub
  • Support Fort Malden Golden Age Club's move to permanent home
