The Town will soon be installing 18 planter boxes for a community garden outside the hub thanks to a donation from the Amherstburg Community Foundation and a Youth Innovation Grant secured by the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee.

Amherstburg's skate park will soon be fixed up, freshly painted by the kids who use it and laid out on a pad of smooth, new asphalt on the west side of the community hub at 320 Richmond Street.

Members of the Amherstburg Fort Malden Horticultural Society planted more than 300 perennials recently in their new Signature Garden outside the community hub on Richmond Street in Amherstburg.
