I was happy to support a proposal to plant more trees in Amherstburg and to amend the Town's tree canopy policy so that the replacement of trees is handled on a two to one basis. Here's how I voted on November 8, 2021.

The Town of Amherstburg and its Accessibility Advisory Committee are seeking public input on the Town’s Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.

Amherstburg Council approved in principle Monday night a reduced but intensified footprint for Open Air Weekends that will see the popular event run from Friday through Sunday every weekend from May 21 to the end of September.

I was happy to move forward with the transformational Big Creek Trail project at the Libro Centre and to engage an executive search firm to help find the Town's next Chief Administrative Officer. Here's how I voted on October 12, 2021:

The Town of Amherstburg is surveying residents by age group to determine what sort of recreational programming they want now that capacity limits are being reduced and the Libro Centre is opening up. 

Amherstburg’s award-winning River Lights Winter Festival kicks off with a tree lighting ceremony and fireworks on Saturday, Nov. 20th, and will be followed a week later by the annual Santa Claus Parade, which will roll down Sandwich Street to Richmond Street as it has in prior years.
