I was happy to support public consultation on a Transit Windsor proposal for public transit in Amherstburg and I was happy to highlight the need for paved shoulders or a multi-use trail on Middle Side Road in McGregor, voting for Administration to come up with a costing for that important project. Approved the MOU for funding contributions toward the detailed engineering design and tender services for serving the Southeast Quadrant with Amico Properties Inc., Capo D'Aqua Corporation, Hunt Club Creek Inc. and Rocksedge Development Inc.
Approved an agreement with Stantec Consulting Ltd. to provide Detailed Design and Tender Services for the Southeast Quadrant for an amount not to exceed $528,000 plus applicable taxes.
Approved a 2020 capital over-expenditure not to exceed $101,760 for Southeast Quadrant engineering services to be funded from developer contributions and local service charges as outlined in the report dated July 27, 2020, with the amounts to be collected interim financed by a loan from the Wastewater Capital Reserve and Water Capital Reserve.
Approved a pre-commitment in the 2021 Budget for Southeast Quadrant engineering services in an amount not to exceed $435,533 to be funded from developer contributions and local service charges as outlined in the report dated July 27, 2020, with the amounts to be collected interim financed by transfers from the Wastewater Capital Reserve and Water Capital Reserve.
