Open Air Weekends, River Lights Winter Festival, the Farmers’ Market, King’s Navy Yard Park and a host of other Amherstburg attractions and historic sites have been nominated in the 7^th Annual Best of Windsor Essex Awards.

I was happy to support the sale of the Fighting Island Boxing Club property for $800,000, approve funding for the redevelopment of Centennial and Jack Purdie Parks and pass the 2022 Operating Budget. Here's how I voted on February 14, 2022:

Construction of a 160-bed long-term care home that will employ 208 people will begin in the fall of 2023 next to the Community Hub on Richmond Street in Amherstburg, the province announced Thursday. The value of the project is estimated at $45 million.

I was happy to move forward the incredible redevelopment of the historic property at 247 Brock Street, designate the "Thomas Drug Store" at 65-67 Richmond Street under the Ontario Heritage Act and provide breaks for community events including the 100th Anniversary celebrations for General Amherstburg High School and the Coldest Night of the Year Walk in support of The House Youth Centre.
